Training
I am beginning to study the art of Alexander Nevzorov, he has brought Haute
Ecole to the new, humane level. He teaches horses to perform the most difficult
elements of Haute Ecole, not only without punishment, bridles and bits, the use
of which are the norm in modern Haute Ecole, but he does all this on a horse
that is in perfect collection. Please, please visit this website

hands of uninformed trainers anymore.
I do take limited numbers of pasos in for training. I work with horses destined
for the trail or the show ring. I start the horses in a safe and positive
manner, rewarding them every step of the way. I work with horses at their pace,
and produce a safe, healthy, happy finished product. I combine my many years of
working with dressage horses, round pen training and good solid equitation when
training the young (or young at heart!) paso fino. I do not however finish
pasos for the show ring. I can, however, give your young horse the foundation
necessary to be a life long joy, long after his show career is over. I
currently have one space open for training. If you are interested, please

My true love is raising the young pasos. Insuring that they grow both in mind
and body to the extent of their genetics.
Being in the business of equine nutrition has taught me a lot about the
biological needs of the growing foal.

I do also recommend a local trainer for your training needs. Her name is Angie
Maple. She has trained in professional morgan farms for 8 years and is now
training on her own. She uses no harsh methods and works with the horse to
create a well mannered, all around horse. She does well with the Paso's,
understanding their personalities. She does not train for the show ring, but
will prep your young horse for the show ring trainer. You will have a usable
horse when she is done.
Angie can train for english, western or driving. She prefers to let the horse
choose his pace of learning, and thusly keeps her training price as low as
possible, encouraging the owner to do the same. If you would like more
