I am determined to produce Paso Finos that are Paso Largo Horses, all-around versatile horses without sacrificing natural gait. Natural gait being defined as a four beat lateral gait that does not require training.

I consider my stallion to be a Paso Largo Horse, they are very different than their "Show Horse" counter parts, these horses have true size and speed, accurate gait and will be capable of bearing more weight without destroying their back or legs, and they will pass these traits on to future generations.

Silencio has all of these traits including size. As a yearling, he stood at 14.2hh. Now as a 11yr old, he is 16hh! It is a pleasure to have such a stallion. He has a commanding presence, like all Paso stallions should! It is a pleasure to work with him also, he has a heart of gold and tries to please. Breeding to a Cremello gives many options to breeders who are looking for color. Chestnut mares throw incredible palomino foals almost every time! The pseudo-albino (Cremello) is the subject of much interest amongst horse people. Many believe, quite wrongly, that horses of this color will be blind or deaf, although the eyesight of the pseudo-albino (Cremello) varies from individual to individual. While horseman may not appreciate the Cremello from a performance viewpoint, many are now appreciating them for their breeding value. It is from the perlino and the cremello that some of the horse's most attractive colors, the dilutes, may be produced.
